How we create an impact.
Palsa & Pulk is built on the belief that there are ample opportunities to build a better future. Together with our clients and partners, we look to advance sustainable and just practices throughout society.
Public interest work
As a social enterprise, Palsa & Pulk regularly engages in public interest, non-profit, and pro bono work with key partners and stakeholders.
As a team, we are currently working on several pro bono projects around sustainability education and supply chain governance with NGOs and non-profit organizations (such as the Stockholm Environment Institute, Trase, and BonoLab).
Our founder, Christine Nikander regularly writes The E-Waste Column to help the broader public obtain an understanding of e-waste, critical raw materials, circularity, and what a just transition could look like.
Palsa & Pulk regularly presents insights on environmental and social sustainability topics at public conferences and industry expos.
We gave a presentation on "Navigating the complexities around conflict minerals" at Chemical Watch’s virtual Global Chemicals Management for Electronics Conference 2023.
We also gave a presentation on "The Regulation of Raw Material Supply Chains Within the EU" at the E-Waste World Conference & Expo 2023 in Frankfurt.
Palsa & Pulk was one of the 24 startups invited to the second round of the StartupColumbia Challenge, as a part of the Spring 2023 Columbia Venture Competition.
